ODCC lost the toss and were put in to bat  on a very dubious looking wicket.

Caunce and Coates opened up and made after a watchful start set a good platform for us. Woods carried on the good start but unfortunately we lost a few regular wickets in the middle due to some strong bowling from Scott Harris. Matt Flower and Steve Roberts countered at the end leaving us 170 ao in yet last over. A below par but competitive total we thought on the lowest of low wickets.

We started bowling much tighter to start with compared to the week before but the openers for Blewbury stuck through that period before opening up. Mark Carey took a liking to anything over pitched, taking one over for 24 (not sure who off?!) and compiled a very good century and took the opening stand past 150. A tight spell of bowling at the end by Woods and young Freddie Smith pulled some initiative back for us with Darryl taking 3/10 thanks to Freddie holding into a stunning catch at short fine leg to dismiss the centurion.

We ended up losing by 6 wickets but came out with an extra point than the week before. Thanks to some attempted cavalier batting from the Blewbury middle order, including former member James Barrett.
