Oxford Downs u13 notched up their first league win of the season in comprehensive style against the Minster Lovell B team. The tone of the game was set when our captain Freddie Smith retired 30 not out after just nine balls.he was followed by all of the top four (Selby-Lowndes, McLintock, Hearn)also retiring having scored 30 resulting in a formidable total of 174-1 from their 20 overs.

The Minster Lovell reply never got going with tight bowling from Ollie Armstrong and Noah Griffitths before the wickets started to fall with the first to Alice Potter in the final few overs (2 wickets in one over for Thomas Taylor) wickets fell regularly before minster Lovell ended on 54-8 after that 20 overs.
