We went back to normal and batted first away at Bledlow Village. Unfortunately, due to some tight bowling and poor umpiring only Wes Bartlett made inroads for us with some powerful shots in a vital 50. Some late power hitting from Rachel Potter took our total to 150.

We started the second innings well with another wicket for Matthew Young in a good spell of away swing to the right handers. Despite best efforts the rest of the bowling attack were not up to the task with Jak Soppet sneaking in only 1 further wicket before they chased the total.

On a fast outfield we did not give ourselves a chance to get in and bowled too many ‘four’ balls early on to give ourselves a chance.
